Passports

One (1) set of each of the following flexible Passports for each responding apparatus (Truck, Engine, Ambulance, Tanker, etc.)

1. One (1) White Passport (Primary) Location - Portable Radio/under Officer's Helmet Brim

2. One (1) Red Passport  (Back-Up)  Location - Rig/Apparatus Door or Dashboard

3. One (1) Green Passport (Reserve/Optional)  Location - Station Watch Desk

(i)  Specify the Type of Rig / Apparatus:

      [T = Truck]  [E = Engine]  [S = Squad]  [A = Ambulance]  [Tnk = Tanker]

(ii)  Specify the Rig / Apparatus Number:

4. It is recommended that each department maintain twelve (12) blank Passports in the Battalion Chief's Make-Up Kit.

5. If you are adequately staffed to split firefighters from one rig into two or more teams, specially designed "Team Passports" are available.   (Please contact Vision Marketing for more information)

Name Tags

Recommended - six (6) Name Tags per man.

1. Specify LAST NAME.  Include FIRST INITIAL only if your department has duplicate last names. Officers may incl. rank also.

2. If you department has a printed list of its firefighters, you may submit that list rather than completing the name tag sheet.

3. Standard Color is White. Alternate colors are available for an additional charge. Please inquire.

Status Boards

One (1) Board for each responding Apparatus, as appropriate (Engine, Truck, Tanker etc.) plus two (2) in the Make-Up Kit. 

Please specify with or without strap.

Make-Up Kits / Carrying Cases

Large enough to carry Status Boards; extra Velcro; blank NameTags; etc.

1. We use only Velcro^© Brand to maintain superior quality.

2. Velcro^© products are sold by the yard.

3. We recommend 4" per passport (used to adhere to the Rig).

4. We recommend 3" per firefighter to adhere Nametags under the corners of the helmet brim.

Helmet Shields

Used to identify each member of a company as a team.

Each position on every apparatus should have a shield that corresponds with the Passports of that apparatus (usually one lieutenant and three firefighters plus one extra of each per rig).

Standard Shields

Customized, vinyl, reflective shields with Velcro hook.

• Officers - use Orange lettering on White Shields.

• Firefighters - use White lettering on Orange Shields

• Ambulance/Medical - use Blue lettering on Yellow Shields

• Other Support Personnel - White lettering on Blue Shields

Leather Shields

Full Leather Shield with or without removable leather inserts. Please specify.
